When Will IIST Application Form 2026 Release?

Eligibility Criteria for IIST 2026

For UG Courses:

• Nationality: Indian citizens, including OCI/PIO holders.
• Age Limit: Born on or after 1st October 2001 (relaxation for SC/ST/PwD).
• Education: 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
• Marks: Minimum 75% for General/OBC, 65% for SC/ST/PwD.
• Exam Required: Must have qualified JEE Advanced 2026.

For PG Courses:

• Upper Age Limit: 32 years, relaxed to 45 for ISRO-sponsored candidates.
• Qualification: BE/B.Tech/M.Sc from a recognized institution.
• Minimum Marks: 60% (55% for reserved categories).
• Exam Score: Valid GATE or JEST score.
